My daughter, a self-proclaimed friendship bracelet expert, volunteered to put the Alex Friends 4 Ever Bracelet Kit to the test.
Her first compliment was about the quantity of floss contained within the kit. 20 bright and vibrant colors of floss, as well as silver and gold floss! The metallic floss was a big hit. The quantity of floss per color was very reasonable. She's had kits in the past that were significantly less generous with the quantity of floss supplied.
She also remarked on the inclusion of the four foam looms. With help from the included instructions, utilizing the looms, you can go far beyond the simple traditional friend ship bracelet and get quite creative with your designs.
Although my daughter did say that it took a bit of time to get going for the more complicated patterns, using the looms, once she had things set up, completion of the bracelets was easy with fabulous results. This kit is suggested for ages 8 and up. Younger users may require some assistance in getting started.
