Something's Cooking On Satellite TV

Baking, for me, was always something of a spectator sport. I was never part of the process, but I sure did enjoy the results. In recent years, however, I've tried my hand at baking. It isn't something I do often, but it is something I do relatively well, arguably.
So when Bravo announced the
latest addition to the Top Chef series, “Top Chef: Just Desserts,” I'll admit my interest was piqued. Having followed several of the other Top Chef series on directv HD DVR Deals ,
I came into the series with high expectations, and Bravo really
delivered. The cast had personality and talent !
to spare, and the challenges were creative and challenging. Even these
chefs, experts in their field, found themselves struggling through some
of the challenges. It was fascinating to see how innovative these ladies
and gents could be improvising in tough situations.
While it's not a baking show in the strictest since, as several types of desserts were included in the challenges, there were several baking-oriented challenges. A baker amongst pastry chefs, Eric Wolitzky started baking in his teens, and while he was relatively inexperienced in some areas compared to other contestants, he made a strong showing and even managed a victory or two.
All in all, it was a great addition to the Top Chef brand, and I look forward to the next season.
I am a huge Bravo fan and enjoy all the versions of Top Chef. Nothing tempts or motivates me more to be creative in the kitchen than watching (in awe) the phenomenal dishes offered by the pros! Dessert images credit to Bravo's Top Chef Just Desserts website.Compensated post.
