Not yet through Halloween, I am already thinking ahead to the Christmas holiday.  Although I relish shopping for my family, surprising them with gifts, my husband and I do ensure that we take time to reinforce our strong commitment to giving back with our children.

While we do volunteer in our community year round, each Christmas we ask our children to select a charity to which they would like to make a donation.  Each child typically receives generous monetary gifts from relatives, in addition to packages.  The amount they choose to donate is discretionary and my husband and I match their gifts.

Camelbak Quality ~ Firsthand
