Feeding the Snow Beast, Saving My Back - STP Multipurpose Motor Treatment #engineluv #CBias

What He Said -
two cents from the male review crew

Another Michigan winter, with plenty of snow.  Even though the snow came late this year, the quantity more than made of for it.  8"+ overnight.  Just put this on my To Do list, if you can find room!

Winterized the boat and motor a few weeks ago, but the unseasonal warm temps gave me the excuse to stall on prepping for winter.  My Toro snowblower, the Snow Beast, has seen more than a few winters.

When I pulled it from the yard house this morning, it was giving me fits about starting.  We can't have that!  I haven't cleared snow with just a shovel for years and I am not interested in starting this winter!

I've used a few different products to treat my small engines, like the boat motor, the trimmers and the snow blower.  Most of what I have in the garage is for one purpose or another.  I've heard some good things about a multi use STP product, so I stopped over there, without the wife because she'll shop ALL DAY, to see what I can find.

Walmart has a pretty extensive automotive section.  I found good prices and a wide variety.  Not to mention, some good gift ideas for me and the boy.  I usually end up doing the Christmas shopping for the men in the family, so I made note of a few items in particular that would be appreciated.

I ended up choosing STP Multipurpose Motor Treatment.  For under $8, this product will treat all of my engines, from the weed wacker to my Silverado, and everything in between.  Formulated to keep your equipment running at top performance while in use, but also works for treating them for off season storage.
Adding STP Multipurpose to the Snow Beast will help keep the engine, fuel injectors and intake valves clean, as well as prevent the build up of sludge and viscosity.

The Snow Beast needed less than an ounce from the 16oz bottle.  Just pour in the gas tank.  Started right up and ran like a champ.  Plenty left over to condition all of the vehicles, and I'll probably dig out the trimmer, edger and weed wacker out of the shed and give them a dose, too.

Whatever it takes to keep the Snow Beast running optimally, and it seems that STP is just what the doctor ordered.  Saving my back from hand shoveling and maybe, just maybe, I can get done quick enough to sneak into the den to watch some football, before the wife comes up with another grand renovation plan!

See what I found at Walmart - full selection of automotive and engine supplies and some gifts ideas for guys at nice prices.

Need to up your snowblower's performance this winter, or give any of your other engines a well deserved boost?  Check out the STP facebook page for a coupon to make the value even better.

We don't get enough snow to need a snow blower but this product may be really good for some of our other motors!! Glad you were able to get the snow blower going!!

I wish I had a snow blower! Okay realistically our yard isn't that big and it doesn't snow THAT MUch compared to some places. I think if I had snow blogger I would do all the sidewalks in my neighbourhood!
