We are definitely going to make sure my father-in-law gets a visit from every one of his children over father's day!
my father and i live on opposite coasts but i will do my best not just on father day but every day to let him know he is love and appreciated.
Best tip is to let him be "King For The Day". Do things for him that show how much he is loved & appreciated, like cook his fav meal!
Best way is to cook a steak and make homemade ice cream

It's not about pampering as much as acknowledging his role as Dad. We plan a day that showcases the beautiful way he and our child interact.
We love to cook dinner for him and just surround him with his family
We will be making him breakfast in bed. He loves blueberry pancakes and sausage so that's what he will be getting. thank you!

My tip is to find out what he loves and do it with him. If he has kids then they should also participate.

My tip is to do some of his chores, like mowing the lawn and washing his car.

I'm sure that the only pampering that my dad wants on this Father's day is just to be left alone to relax since Sundays are his only day off from work.

Whatever he wants to do that day! Usually a movie and BBQ!
We've reserved his tee time at his fave course. Don't think we'll see much of him that day. He loves golf.
My ex is a wonderful dad, so we are going to give him and his new girlfriend a day to themselves, with movie rental coupons, and a gift certificate to one of his favorite restaurants!
