Family Health: Sharing Safety For Children And Infants

Do you know a child or infant that fit into the RSV high risk category?

RSV season runs from November to March over most of the United States and this disease touches nearly all children before they reach the age of two.  Preemies and other young children, including those with a family history of asthma, those born with low birth weigh and those who have certain lung or heart diseases are particularly at risk for serious complications from contracting RSV.  Due to the highly contagious nature of RSV, infants and children who are in frequent contact or in contact with large groups of children are also at risk.

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of MedImmune and I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.  The opinions above are both honest and of my own experiences.  Information about RSV and  image sourced from Mom Central and RSVProtection.com. #ProtectPreemies
